Some stuff was moved from live-config to live-tools in the meantime, and files renamed along the way. No kidding :]

On testing/sid, the package that ships the alsa-utils initscript is not depended upon by anything we install anymore. Likely PulseAudio takes over this kind of tasks. So, we stop patching the initscript, and the corresponding insserv mangling.

It conflicts with cups-filters, that cups itself depends on.

It depends on the "standard" list, that we don't want (see previous commit). What we really need among the rest (xorg, menu, alsa-base, alsa-utils, keyboard-configuration) will probably be automatically pulled by dependencies anyway.

The "standard" list includes, in addition to the "minimal" one: * console-setup console-common kbd: problematic, as plymouth conflicts with console-common; if one of the other two packages is pulled by some dependency, fair enough; else, let's say we probably don't need it. * locales: provided by the locales-all package, that we explicitly install.

The previous instructions to copy the persistent data were creating personal files that belong to root. I don't think there is a way of preserving the original ownership using Nautilus (unless doing a "move" instead of a "copy" but that's not what we are trying to do here).

The APT config mangling is made in the chroot, as that's where all keys corresponding to the configured APT repos can be found, and the APT pinning has been setup. Note that, when this hook runs, the SquashFS has been generated already, so modifying the content of the chroot at this point should not affect the resulting ISO much.
