Consider removing instructions to write to Help Desk when Tails does not start

Now that we have:

  • No problems anymore with "non-removable" USB sticks (#16926 (closed))
  • UEFI
  • Secure Boot
  • Shift + Restart on Windows

I'm wondering how much we can actually help people for which Tails doesn't start. Apart from telling them that we are sorry, are we actually solving problems?

I started removing these instructions where they were inlined from /install for Mac: e70739e7d7.

I instead included basic troubleshooting instructions to all installation scenarios: 54e6bf7b.

They are still on the new /doc/first_steps/start/pc and /doc/first_steps/start/mac.

Right now they are quite specific about Tails not starting at all. If we think that it's still a good idea to have instructions to contact Help Desk when Tails doesn't start after the Boot Loader, then we should adapt them.

We should wait some time after having Shift + Restart (#16456 (closed)) before discussing this.

The FT and UX residencies at Help Desk could be good opportunities to discuss this.
