Consider not autounlocking/automounting other Tails' persistent partition when plugged
Since enabling automounting of encrypted media (#15767 (closed)) plugging a different Tails' with persistent storage will pop up GNOME's passphrase prompt to unlock it. Some examples of how this impacts UX are:
- The backup tool: #20143 (closed) (maybe not an issue?)
- Tails Cloner: if you plug another Tails with the intention to upgrade it but it has a persistent partition then GNOME will attempt to unlock it, asking for the passphrase. Users might think that this is needed for the upgrade, which it isn't, actually unlocking/mounting it might only make the upgrade fail (#20139 (closed), #20149 (closed))
We should consider blacklisting TailsData from automounting.
