Consider replacing the radio buttons in the consent question by direct buttons
Right now, to answer the consent question of the Tor Connection assistant, the user has to:
- Click a radio button
- Click "Connect to Tor"
This has been working fine in usability tests, but maybe we could simplify this a little bit by providing direct buttons to choose between autoconfig, default bridges, and custom bridges:
Doing this would also simplify the 2 screens to configure a Tor bridge:
- If the user chooses "Configure Tor with a default bridge", we could try this directly instead of showing all the bridge configuration.
- If the user chooses "Configure Tor with Hidden Bridge", we wouldn't have to display the unavailable "Use a default bridge" in the bridge configuration.
Incidentally, I think that this would have prevented #19198.
I thought about this while reading feedback on tails-bugs the other day.
