Can't Download Files over 1.9GB (Increase Free Space to Tor Browser Folder)
So I can't download ISO's over 1.9GB in size as this is what is set as max size in the Tor Browser folder where downloads from Tor Browser go to.
This is on a non Persistence Tails 64GB USB Drive. Came across this issue when trying to download QubesOS ISO (5.7GB) after verifing their Master Signing Key. Which was a huge bummer as I don't have another linux install at the moment.
This is also could be an issue for other users or journalists that need to download large compressed files online.
Suggestion would be to provide a workaround to change the size from the root terminal (that would require persistence volume though?). Or to have option in peristence storage to let the users expand the size of the sandboxed Tor Browser folder and warn users if they do not have enough space. Not sure how to make non persistence users be able to expand size?
Lastly I don't think getting rid of the Tor Browser folder or should be changed to Downloads cause you would loose the sandboxing but I guess users could maybe choose to set that too as an option?
