htpdate: also log to the Journal
I've just seen cases where htpdate takes 30s to succeed. I find this suspicious and wanted to take a look, but in that case, our test suite won't save htpdate.log
. Let's make the --log_file
option log to a file on top of stdout, so that the Journal has the logs too.
This will help us debug issues that sysadmin#11562 (5+ years old, no ETA) should catch once it's implemented and other kinds of htpdate problems.
