No more Trash for the Persistent folder
While preparing the tests for next week, I'm facing something strange.
When pressing "Delete" on a file in Home, it does to the trash. That's expected.
When pressing "Delete" on a file in the Persistent folder, I get the following dialog:
That's usually the dialog I get when pressing Shift + Delete or to delete files without sending them to the trash. I don't think that's expected.
Did I miss anything?
It might actually be better to permanently delete files by default than to send them to a Trash that is pretty hard to empty (#6254) but this differs from how Tails was behaving in the past and how other operating systems work.
We'll fix improve #6254 as part of #15572 (closed). Once we get there, we should really fix this Trash if it is not fixed before that.
