Test manually creating a disk image as a backup technique
_Originally created by @sajolida on [#15685 (Redmine)](https://public-redmine-archive.tails.boum.org/code/issues/15685)_ Some Tails contributor told me they were using a full disk image to backup their Tails. The benefit is that you have everything backed up at once, no problems with permissions, and a fully ready USB stick to replace your if you lose it or break it. ### Attachments * [free space.png](https://redmine.tails.boum.org/code/attachments/download/2088/free%20space.png) * [gnome disks.png](https://redmine.tails.boum.org/code/attachments/download/2089/gnome%20disks.png) * [persistence configuration.png](https://redmine.tails.boum.org/code/attachments/download/2090/persistence%20configuration.png) * [removed partition.png](https://redmine.tails.boum.org/code/attachments/download/2091/removed%20partition.png) * [partclone.png](https://redmine.tails.boum.org/code/attachments/download/2092/partclone.png) * [partimag.png](https://redmine.tails.boum.org/code/attachments/download/2093/partimag.png) ### Related issues - **Related to** tails/tails#14605 - **Related to** tails/tails#12214
