Consider replacing GNOME Console with Ptyxis

So far, the implemented plan is that Debian is replacing GNOME Terminal with Ptyxis in Debian 14: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1083283.

Apparently most distros did not do the move to GNOME Console, that we did in 7.0, but are instead moving to Ptyxis.

cc @sajolida for awareness but it's way too early to dive into this topic.

I've done the switch myself (from GNOME Terminal) and will report back.
