i2pd on Tails
Hi,
I've been using Tails for a good few months now and I have to say, you all do great work and it is super appreciated! I know that Tails used to support i2p in the past but has since been removed, however, a friend of mine gave me some scripts that he found (he did not write them) which actually enables the use of i2p on Tails. I've run the scripts and they do in fact allow me to use i2p, tor, and clear-net all within Tails. But I know that i2p was removed for a reason and since I don't know what the code is actually doing, I posted the scripts on Reddit, where it was removed by a mod stating that the code was "dangerous". I asked them what about the code was dangerous but they were unable to give me an answer.
So here we are, I'm hoping someone would be able to look at the code in the scripts and explain which line(s) are harmful and if these scripts would be able to be used to access the i2p network without jeopardizing too much privacy (of course some will be traded off by virtue of opening up more access but I'm okay with some, just not all).
The scripts can be found here: https://github.com/Plowsker/tails-i2pd
Thank you kindly and keep up the great work!
