WiFi won't show up, even approved adapters

I have a laptop with an WiFi card that isn't compatible with Tails. I saw an old ticket with the same network adapter and they recommended buying an approved network adapter, so I did. I purchased a Tp-Link AC1300 Archer T4U Plus and although I cannot update to the latest drivers due to the program they gave me refusing to acknowledge the Wifi Network Adapter even though my computer is running on it right now. It just says plug in the Adapter to continue, and stops at that. So I started Tails with my computer using the WiFi adapter successfully and I get the same Tails interface, not showing any wifi options. I am running the latest Tails update too. I love you all thank you so much! I'll check back several times daily for updates. I'm willing to buy other adapters as I really want to get Tails working.
