Super+L sometimes starts the screensaver when it should ask for a screen lock password
Bug Description
Since release 5.0, clicking Super+L locks the screen without asking for password, so the screen can be later unlocked by clicking Enter key without entering any password. However when I lock the screen through the menu (upper-right corner) or by running tails-screen-locker
, I'm asked to provide password that will be later used for unlocking the screen.
For the reason that is unknown to me, the bug is more common after Power Off rather than Restart.
Steps To Reproduce
- Boot Tails without changing anything on Welcome Screen.
- Click Super+L. The screen will lock and you will be able to unlock it without providing any password.
Additional Informations
I attached two files, both are logs extracted from /bin/journalctl --catalog --no-pager
:
- Boot_Process.txt contains informations about boot process, before clicking Super+L.
- Error.txt contains informations after clicking Super+L and unlocking the screen using Enter key.
