Tails 5.0~beta1 takes 20% longer to boot than 4.28

The "Real (non-VM) hardware" part of our manual QA gave me these results:

  • 4.29: 67s
  • 5.0~beta1: 81s

That's 20% longer. We should at least determine whether this indicates a more severe problem.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
