restrict-stream-events is not enforced for Tor Browser anymore
In the Journal, on a branch based on current testing
, I see:
onion-grater[3979]: 10.200.1.2:35382 (filter: tor-browser): filter 'tor-browser' has `restrict-stream-events` set and we are remote so the option was disabled
I suppose that's the case since we use a network namespace for Tor Browser.
IIRC, we added restrict-stream-events
in order to feel comfortable giving the browser access to stream events in order to enable its circuits view (git log -p --reverse -Grestrict-stream-events
), but I'm not 100% sure. Either way, it's a significant change that I feel we should at least review explicitly.
