Persist Entry Guards

Hi,
are there any plans to improve tails with respect to fully employ the guard security by persisting tor state?

I read about your plan to persist the tor state file (https://tails.boum.org/blueprint/persistent_Tor_state/).
Tails would already be more secure for me if there would be any guard persistence at all - even non-specific.

Is there any way to help the project in achieving this important step towards better security?
