Our current XMPP chat rooms lose this information on a weekly basis so
let's not bother with this any more.

Since commit ecfceac5, 3.0~betaN
live on the alpha channel, hence the previous revert. But we still
need a way to test these upgrade paths, so let's use the stable (sic)
channel for that.

Since we set TAILS_CHANNEL="alpha" on 3.0~betaN, those users are already
being proposed the automatic update, while 3.0~beta4 is not officially
released yet.

The way we did it previously, Jenkins would start building from the release
branch, which would fail with "Not building from a tag, but last version in
changelog was released".
