Don't fail the build if the APT lists don't include any package whose name matches ^geoclue. · 5f1cd1b9
      intrigeri authored
The build of my first tentative 3.9~rc1 ISO failed with:

E: Unable to locate package ^geoclue*
E: Couldn't find any package by glob '^geoclue*'
E: Couldn't find any package by regex '^geoclue*'
E: config/chroot_local-hooks/98-remove_unwanted_packages failed (exit non-zero). You should check for errors.

That's because the partial, tagged APT snapshot used to build this ISO don't
include any package whose name matches ^geoclue. So let's only attempt to remove
such packages if at least one of them is installed.

      Disable uBlock lists auto-update (refs: #15702). · 4327564d
      intrigeri authored
We've always disabled this feature because it calls home and generates
network traffic every time one starts Tails and then Tor Browser.
But 106a5129 did not port our settings
customization to the new uBlock settings storage format.

Implementation-wise, I've found no better way of changing the default
value of this setting than patching the extension code: it's not managed
as a regular Firefox pref and the only other option would be to include
      a hard-coded
      /etc/tor-browser/profile/browser-extension-data/uBlock0@raymondhill.net/storage.js,
which feels more bothersome to maintain than this patch.

Be more relaxed wrt. where VirtualBox kernel modules can be stored. · 58c096b3
      intrigeri authored
For example, if one of the modules dkms would build is not newer than what is
already found in the Debian kernel, dkms won't build it and our previous
sanity check would abort the build:

       /etc/kernel/header_postinst.d/dkms:
Error! Module version 5.2.16_Debian for vboxvideo.ko
is not newer than what is already found in kernel 4.17.0-1-amd64 (5.2.16_Debian).
