It turns out I was able to implement this switch without any such kludge,
merely by persisting the whole /var/lib/tca directory.

This would require intrigeri to add Perl backend to reflect the existence
of a `bridges.conf` configuration file instead of a mount point, as of now.
We can live without this and only offer switches in the Tor Configuration
assistant.
